Time dilation as kinematic time constriction
RSI explains time dilation as the slowing of a matter-knot's internal rotation when motion draws its circulating wave into a helix.
Special Relativity predicts that moving objects show time dilation, length contraction, and relativistic mass. Standard physics attributes these to the geometry of spacetime. RSI proposes that they are the consequences of moving a structure built of the medium's own waves through the 0.73 N continuum of the Eternal Consonance.
The theory holds that a stationary electron is not truly at rest. It is an inversion wave, a kinetic energy wave of the medium, moving at c, trapped in a closed 720-degree toroidal loop. Mass, in this view, is the localized confinement of that wave.
When the knot moves in a straight line, its circular path is drawn forward into a helix. The wave still travels at c, but the longer path means each full rotation takes more time, by exactly the factor relativity gives. This slower internal frequency is time dilation. In RSI, time is a measure of processing bandwidth, and bandwidth spent on linear motion slows the internal refresh rate.
